Another evening at Dekate Mousa, the photo and film society of the Technical University Eindhoven. Our assignment this evening was to design a CD cover for an album by the Klaxons (a British indie rock band)¬†titled: ‘Myths of a near future’. The title made us come up with the idea to represent the myth of the Maya’s who according to popular belief forecasted the world to end in 2012. Four pictures were used to compose the CD cover. The statue depicted on the CD cover is Pakal a Maya king whom ruled from 615 BC to 683 BC. The fire coming out of his mouth representing the destruction of the world ¬†was made by one of our group members who happens to be a skilled fire breather.

2011 in review
